listen i know people (ahem!) are going to blog but i am going to add something i've made to the mix
a chicken with lips face mask
today i worked on a sort of weird process, a reduction silkscreen? i used the red blockout liquid we have in the studio and planned out the colors (like woodcut) -- i like working this way because everything turns out a little more painterly (i do the color separations with a paintbrush directly on the screen rather than going through the acetate and exposing)---the process is a little quicker also.
i'm going to be giving away or selling this edition (for like a dollar each) at my senior show among other things...so will susan b and panos p---our show's april 30th!!!!!!!!!!
